Trail’s End Organic Farm, owned and operated by Greg and Janet Morse, is located in the Crow Creek valley 4 miles west of Putnam, IL. The farm has been in the Morse family since 1921. The land has been chemical-free since 1989 and was certified organic in 1992.
The farm is divided equally between cropland and pasture – with oak, walnut, and hickory timber in a woodland populated with wild plums, gooseberries, black raspberries, and Morel mushrooms in the spring. A small lake in the center of the farm is home to bluegill and bass.
Our field crops include wheat, oats, rye, soybeans, and corn.
